Cream and butter porridge

This recipe is quite similar to my previous recipe, sour cream porridge. A friend of me thinks this porridge tastes much better than the sour cream porridge, so I had to try it. This one has a sweeter and milder taste, but I personally prefer the sour cream porridge.

Ingredients, 2 servings:

1/3 liter (1 2/5 cup) heavy cream
70 grams (2.5 ounces) or about 4-5 tablespoons butter
2 dl (4/5 cup) water
2 teaspoons locust bean gum
0.5 teaspoon salt

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add cream and salt, let it cook for a while. Shake locust bean gum and water. Slowly add the water mix into your porridge while stirring. Let it cook for a while.

Sprinkle erythritol and cinnamon on the porridge. Serve with cured meats.

    I have a strong feeling I know very well this friend… :-)
I just have to add that I haven’t tasted the low carb version of sour cream porridge. Maybe I change my mind when I do? ;-)

I thought you had tasted the low carb version of sour cream porridge, but I guess it probably wont make a difference, we probably just have different preferences :-)
