Cream sauce

This low carb sauce is very simple and can easily be modified by adding a variety of different spices and herbs.
Ingredients for one serving:
1 dl (1/2 cup) heavy cream
1 egg yolk
Salt and pepper
(drippings)
Heat the cream (with drippings) until it boils. Turn the heat down. Add egg yolk and stir until you get the desired consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
